Chocolaterie de Broc

A 2-day motorcycle tour around Chocolaterie de Broc, combining scenic roads, mountain passes and beautiful viewpoints, ideal for a short touring break.

Day 1

We leave Annemasse towards Bonne, then take to the valley of the Menoge, to Boëge and Habere Lullin.

Depending on your schedule, you can stop to eat or sleep in the hotel restaurant "Aux Touristes" at Habere Lullin, where bikers are welcome! Info reservations: www.auxtouristes.com

It follows the valley Brevon to cross the valley d'Aulps and join the Abondance valley.

It takes the pass of Morgins to go down in Switzerland, and cross the Rhone.

After you go up to Aigle through the gorges of the Grande Eauto the Col des Mosses, which offers many interesting views.

Chateau d'Oex is left to our right to keep going on Gruyère and Broc.

You can visit the chocolate factory in Broc, tours are organized. 1:15 to 1:30 starting to visit. Rate at 15/02/2011: CHF 10 for adults. Info: www.cailler.ch

You can sleep a few miles on Lake Gruyère, the "Hostellerie du Vignier."

Day 2

Departure for Vevey and Lake Geneva

It bypasses and we take the height from Vevey to cross the terraced vineyards of Lavaux (World Heritage), by the road of the cornice.

We return to the lake at Morges, and then take the direction of the Joux Valley.

We take the winding road and in perfect condition, and the Lake of Joux.

It turns left towards the Col du Marchairuz on this beautiful road lined with stone walls.

Take time to admire the view over the lake and the Alps via the pass.

We end on the way down to the lake just before Nyon to cross Geneva.
