4 days Alps North to South

Four days of motorcycle riding through the French Alps, from north to south and back again, starting from Annemasse and Geneva.

Day 1
Motorcycle pickup in Annemasse, then ride towards Bonneville and La Clusaz via the Gorges des Éveaux.
Cross the Col des Aravis (1486 m) and continue towards Beaufort.
Pass the Roselend dam and cross the Cormet de Roselend (1967 m), entering the Vanoise National Park.
Continue via Val d’Isère and climb the Col de l’Iseran (2764 m), the highest paved pass in Europe.
Descent and turn towards the Mont-Cenis Pass (2084 m), riding along the lake and crossing into Italy.
Arrival in Cesana Torinese for the night.

Day 2
Return to France via Briançon, then climb the Col d’Izoard (2360 m).
Ride through the Queyras Regional Park towards Guillestre.
Cross the Col de Vars (2109 m), then enter the Mercantour National Park.
Climb the Col de la Bonnette (2715 m), with optional loop to the summit at 2802 m.
Descend towards Saint-Martin-Vésubie, cross the Col de Turini and finish the day in Menton, on the Mediterranean coast.

Day 3
Ride along the Mediterranean coast past Monaco and Nice.
Follow the Route Napoléon through Grasse, Castellane and Digne-les-Bains.
Ride alongside the Lac de Serre-Ponçon and end the day in Guillestre.

Day 4
From Guillestre, climb the Col du Lautaret (2058 m) and the Col du Galibier (2646 m).
Descend to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, then cross the Col de la Madeleine (1993 m).
Return via Lake Annecy, Cruseilles and the Salève, with panoramic views over Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva.
Return to Annemasse.
